Trying to find Weaver

Helen Report 13 Jun 2007 12:43

Hello. I was born in Maidstone, Kent in May 1959 and my name at birth was Helen Weaver. I do not know my mother's name (assuming surname Weaver due to her young age, can't be specific but I think she was either 15 or 17 at the time). I was adopted at 6 weeks old and have been told by my adopted parents that my mother was not allowed to keep her child. I have been thinking long and hard about making contact with any family I might have. I have three beautiful (grown up) children myself and can only imagine how hard it was for my mother to give her child up for adoption. If there is anyone out there surname Weaver who recognises this story, who lives/lived in the Maidstone area, who could give me any more info, or who could possibly be related to me I would love to hear from you. Please get in touch. I do not wish to upset anybody I just want to know my roots. Thank you
