My name is Sheila Gibson. My great grandmother, Mary Welburn was born in Cropton, N. Yorks. in 1850. Her parents were Thomas Welburn (blacksmith) and Nancy Pennock Agar. She had two brothers, George born 1845 and John born 1846 and a sister, Elizabeth born 1848. Mary married George Ellis at Bishop Auckland in 1877.
