My maternal grandmother was born Louisa Mabel Wellman 1897 in Brighton.

Her parents were Thomas Wellman bn 1871 Brighton and Elizabeth Mary Creswell bn 1872 Brighton

Thomas's parents were James Willman (Wellman) bn 1840 in Lyndhurst Hampshire and Barbara Allen bn 1838 in Brighton

Barbara's parents were Benjamin Allen bn 1805 Brighton and Caroline unknown bn 1812 Brighton

Elizabeth Creswell's parents were William Cres(s)well bn 1845 Brighton and Elizabeth Sarah Knee bn 1845 Billingshurst Sussex

William's parents were William Cres(s)well bn 1819 Brighton and Louisa Payne bn 1826 Brighton

William's father was William Cresswell bn 1801 Brighton but I have no name for a mother.

Elizabeth Knee's parents were William Knee bn 1804 Trowbridge Wiltshire and Mary unknown bn 1805 Lancing Sussex

William Knee's parents were James Knee bn 1770 in Wiltshire and Elizabeth Minty bn 1770 in Wiltshire

Most birth years are approximate but any help would be appreciated.

IGI has a marriage of a Benjamin Allen to a Caroline Jasper 21 JUN 1835 Saint Nicholas, Brighton, Sussex.

James Jasper Allen Christening: 18 JAN 1837 St Nicholas, Brighton
Barbara Allen Christening: 14 APR 1839 St Nicholas, Brighton

Caroline Jasper Christening: 15 AUG 1813 St Nicholas, Brighton parents James and Sarah.
