Hello my maiden name was White and I am looking for information on my great grandfather, John Gladstone White who died in Burnley in November 1914. He was married to Alice Jackson Douglas and they had 5 children namely: - Mary Charles (Charlie) James William (my grandad) Oct 1901 - Jan 1978 Joseph born 1907 died 1921 I know that for many years he was Auditor of the Burnley Weavers Association and had strong trade unionist views. Any information on him or any of his children would be very much appreciated. I also believe his mother was Harriet and his father was James but would love any information about them too.
