I have not been unable to trace my grandfather, William John White born about 1875 in Portsmouth Hampshire. William married Esther Claudina White on October 15th 1898 in Bromley Kent They had 4 children, Esther born 1900 died 1921, Dorothy known as Dolly date of birth unknown, Charles date of birth unknown and my mother Daisy Evelyn White born 11th March 1912. Daisy married Frank Wilkins in Bromley. On William and Esther's marriage certificate William's father was named as John William White. William's occupation in the 1901 census was carter.If anybody could help me find William's family in Portsmouth I would be very grateful, regards Irene |
