Hello I am looking to find other descendants of ARTHUR JAMES WILKINSON and JANET AMELIA READ, who resided at various times in Totton, Eling, Aldershot and Southampton in Hampshire. AJW was born circa 1860, presumably in Berkshire, and JAR was born in 1869 in Winsor, Hants. They married in 1889 and had many children, including my grandfather Albert Alfred Wilkinson (born 1907,) his brother Reginald Gordon (born 1913,) and a number of daughters with floral names. The eldest daughters of AJW and JAR that I know of were Janet Ada, Isabel Rosella, Lilian Flora, and Violet May. AJW died in 1939 and JAR in 1954. My grandfather moved away from the Southampton area in 1942. However I have some further information if anyone requires it to establish a link, etc. Steven Wilkinson |
