Hi I am Trying To Find Anything About a Skipper last name Work .He was Drowned In a gale in harber when trying to secure boat.This all took place in Orkney. He had at leased 3 children 2 boys 1 girl.The Girl was my mum, Margaret Jane Johnston Sutherland Work. They all later moved to Glasgow

HI,

I am related to many Work(s) they all come from Orkney. Do you know what year this drowning happened. I go back to a Magnus Work, Shapinsay Orkney 1790. I have the names of all descendants since. I live in New Zealand.

I have James Work, b.abt 1608 Shapinsay.

Also Sutherland Brock, abt. 1765 Stromness.
