Trying to find relatives of Gordon and John placed in Dr. Barnardos when John was about 2 years and Gordon was a baby, believed to be the youngest of 7 boys

Do you have any dates? I take it you are referring to a Gordon Wyndham and a John Wyndham?

Have now found out that Gordon and Horace (not John) were the youngest of 7 children and were placed in Barnardos when their father Frederick Wyndham deserted their mother Ellen.
Am now trying to find out anything about Frederick, possible 2nd name William, Wyndham born either 1885 or 1886, father listed on marriage cert as William Robert Wyndham
