Dear Sandra

irish birth records can be found on www.irishgenealogy.ie - unfortunately you have to pay for them. I had a quick look at Limerick - no Martin Gibbons for 1830, lots of Gibbons in Mayo but none so early.

You could also try posting a message on the Irish message boards -

Best of luck

I have discovered a record for Martin Gibbons from Royal Constabulary Ireland saying he was born 1830 in County Mayo.I had thought he was from Limerick as this is where he was married. His parents were Stephen and Martha Gibbons. Does anyone have any info on Gibbons family of County Mayo or where Birth info can be found? THanks heaps
