I have been trying to find a marriage between a Hugh McCafferty 1834 (born in Ireland) and Ann ? in Lanarkshire, Scotland around 1860-1870

How does one search for Scottish BMD? Ancestry gives Census results but no BMD for Scotland.

Any help gratefully received.

This is the only marriage showing on the IGI between 1860 and 1870 in Lanarkshire. It should also be on scotlandspeople which is a pay per view website.
It costs £6 for 30 credits. To view a certificate takes 6 credits, 1 to search and 5 to view.
You can then print the certificate out, much quicker and cheaper than ordering certificates.
Of course it can get expensive viewing the wrong certificates....
