Heads up about Living Relatives

Hi All,

I wanted to change my tree to hide all living relatives. I have access to a couple of accounts as I’m helping somebody else with their tree so I hid my relatives and opened my tree to another of the accounts to see what other people would see.

It says in “my account” that hiding you relatives will hide all relatives within the last 120 years unless a death is added.

When I logged into the other account to view my tree, I was surprised to find that not only did it hide relatives who were born and I’d added death dates to nearly 100 years ago, but it had added living relative children to my tree and changed them around. E.g. my dad is the youngest bar one of 8 children (2 boys, 6 girls), on my tree it appeared that he was the eldest of 9 (3 boys, 6 girls but mixed up).

I just thought I would let you know in case anyone wondered what appeared when you hid your relatives.

Thanks,

Vicky
