Member Since: December 2002 Posts: 53 Send Message	I am finding it more and more difficult to use this site because of the restricted size of the screen due to adverts - trying to look at the hot matches has been hard going due to more or less the top half of my screen being blocked by at advert which says "click here to come closer to the people you love" and the banner heading for genes itself blocks another big chunk. any advise would be gratefully received. best wishes to all Janice

	Have you got pop up blocker switched on? If not and you're on XP go to tools click on pop up blocker and switch on, then go to pop up blocker settings and set filter to high, that will eradicate a lot of the ads....I don't get any on GR now

	Download the Firefox browser with the Adblock Plus extension and use it instead of Internet Explorer.

	It sounds like you have spyware sitting on your PC rather than the popups actually coming from GR Try downloading and running Adaware from www.lavasoft.com, it usually does the trick!
