	Hi Judith, Ummmmmmm could be difficult getting BMD info from France as they have a strict 100 year rule. Did they marry in UK or France. Do you know where they settled in France? Gillian

Member Since: May 2005 Posts: 1,478 Send Message	Was he a soldier? If so the marriage may be recorded in one of the GRO overseas indexes for the military. Otherwsie the GRO consul marriages may include the details if the marriage was reported to the Consul/embassy overseas What was his name?
