Why do people put Names they are researching on FHS Name Searches, and when you have a match, and write and send them a SAE for reply, they do not bother to answer.
Why spend money on FHS and not bother to answer.

Perhaps you could contact the FHS to which they belong/ed and ask what the situation is.

How long ago did you contact them? They might be looking through their piles of papers (I have so much myself, never find what I want when I want it) before they reply.

I put some names on this site a few years ago, but never had any response.

However, if someone contacts me, no matter where they found me, I do try to responds within a week, even if it is only to say we don't appear to have a connection.

Reggie, No this was a Family History site, where my paternal family came from.

Yes Peter I do the same.

Of course he may be away, so will just hold my breath and wait.
