I'm hunting for the marriage of my great grandparents, I'm beginning to believe it doesn't exist!. I've searched ancestry and nothing. Is there anywhere else I can look please? and thinking around 1890 as that is when their first child was born

Thanks Linda

Did you get her maiden name from the birth cert of a child?

Thanks all

I have her maiden name from Birth cert of Dora. (starting to put doubts in my mind now!!) I hope it is the right one or I have been following the wrong line :(

I think the 1885 one is too early as Sarah Ann was born 1868, but will send for it on the off chance. My cousin has been researcghing our White side of the family for years and never managed to find it, I really wanted this cert

The district Basford spans the boundaries of the counties of Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.

Walsall is Staffordshire.
