WW1 naval records

can anyone tell me how to look up ww1 royal navy records
I know the ship my grandfather served on, but would like to find his records- will that be on medal records too?
Also is there anyway to look up airforce records for WW2?

You can look up WW1 Royal Navy records on the documentsonline site. If they are there, you can download for £3-50. RAF service records for WW2 are still with the Air Force. It costs £30 to send off for them, unless the person or their wife is still alive, in which case they can apply for free.
