One baby, two entries in Register of Births

Has anyone come across a child having two entries in the Register of Births in Scotland?

I have two extracts of a child born 18/05/1928. The first entry is in the District of St Rollox, the second in the District of Plantation.

Both extracts cross-reference right down to time of birth, and the child's five names. On the second entry alongside the first column it says District of birth St Rollox, and in the last column has the same date for registration, then says transcribed at Glasgow and the date is one day later.

Thanks for your help.
