Now my "Not Matches" don't even match

I posted my thread on this topic on Records Office

I found they had taken one name from my tree, and she was matched up with 3 other people on the other person's tree.

I wonder why it is that the GR and its' parent and sibling sites all say the same thing when users complain about something ..... basically it's always OUR fault for not understanding how to use the site, or doing something wrong!

Same problem here I have 72 matches with one person, trouble is the first 30 of em aren't.
I reported this to GR weeks ago waste of time, all I got was a lecture on how Hot Matches work.

Ah well.

The same thing happened to me earlier in the week .. I did put up a thread about it at that point.

Just another little quirk to make us think about how to connect John Smith with Marty Allan!!!!

My Hot Matches don't allways match.
And I don't get any for weeks then I get about 4 pages all at once.

I had this happen once before and reported it to GR. I sorted itself out a week later.

It was suggested some time ago that it could happen if someones tree was changed or removed whilst HotMatches was in the middle of processing your data, but couldn't say for sure.

I know there has always been a problem with the place/country of birth not matching, but now the names don't even match!!!

They've got my Robert Rennie 1774 matched with Margaret Moreton 1882; my Janet Rennie 1816 with Kathleen Wilson 1892 and my Thomas Buchanan 1815 with Elizabeth Cox 1825.

What's next?............
