Crossing over to Gurnsey

My ancestors in 1850 moved over to Gurnsey from St Austell.Would anyone know the nearest port which they would have had to use? Annie

do you mean england. Possibly Charlestown which is St Austell, or Plymouth, or Falmouth. To St Petersport in Guernsey
