Hi Joan (again!)

Where do I find the Overseas Death Index on Freebmd>? I can only find the normal Birth, marriage death page. Is it somewhere else on the website?

thanks
Angela

Rose and Joan (and all),

Thank you so much for looking these up, upon looking through all the years I had looked for marriages I had omitted to check the year 1918! I had looked at everything else apart from that year!
This has given me something to work on, thanks!
Kind regards
Angela

Hi REggie, I meant Army personnel. I'm looking for Sidney Walter J Donaldson born 1899 and also William Charles Donaldson born 1895. I can't find their marriages and was wondering if they fought in the war. They would be my fathers uncles but he has never heard of them so not unless they died at an early age I am assuming that they died at war.

Stephanie it would be really kind of you to look for me. Many thanks

Do you refer to service personnel? Or just anyone who happened to die during those periods?

Hi all

If someone died in either WW1 or 2 would their name still appear on the usual death index?

Thanks
Angela
