I have just come in from a Family History Fair, run by Dorset FHS, at Poole Grammer School.

There was a book stall from East of London FHS, and there were so many people round it, who had originally come from that area, and now living in the West Country/South Coast area.

I was given lots of information, and bought a book and CD on Barking.

Had good chat about East of London and Essex.

It is worth going to these fairs, especially if they have a stall of the area you originally came from.
