Sorry to those who added since Thursday. I have been away and only just now checked for any replies. Thanks again for the advice. I will bookmark it for future ref.

Some FTM reports, such as a Genealogy Report, can also be saved as text. Rich Text format (rtf) is a good choice, as it can be read by most word processors.

This can be more convenient than a pdf as it can be more easily edited.

You can do the same thing with a tree too, handy for sending a small tree (perhaps covering two or three generations for example or descendants of a particular person).

When you have created the report in FTM, click on file and then you will see export genealogy report. I do this in PDF format.
Export it then and save it on your computer ie desktop or wherever you want.
You can then attach that to the email.

I wanted to send her a copy of the genelogy report pages but don't seem to be able to do this from FTM. I then printed it off and scanned it in and sent it via email but the quality was poor. There must be an easier way but not too clued up. LOL

I promised to send a GR Member a report of a family linked to both of us and tried to copy and paste it but couldn't so scanned it into the computer after printing it but she has said it was too feint to read. Any suggestions please? She has really helped me and I'd like to be able to send her what I have.
Thanks
