im sorry i didnt explain very well, these records have come as a shock to the family as my grandad was told his dad died in the war and he didnt he got release in nov 1945. theres a section of his movement that says
1raf depot (ne)ux
and on one section of his records it says c.i.d legal 22/7/47
I would be happy to email a copy of these sections for people to see

I have got a copy of my great grandfathers records and i am having trouble understanding them, i was wondering if anybody had any experiance with raf records and could help me to understand them or suggest where i could go to have them decoded a little bit
