Can anyone please point me in the direction please....I have googled but I don't seem to be getting any where!

After a couple of years of trying to find out why and how my 2x gt grandmother should emigrate to Canada in 1918 I am so excited to find that her first born son emigrated to Canada and settled in Edmonton, Alberta sometime between 1891 and 1914. He has shown up as serving in the Canadian forces in WW1....I would like to find out when he emigrated.

Many thanks

Linda

You have to pay for records, but you could see if his name is listed, with year of arrival. (You might be able to find his immigration information elsewhere.)

The son could be on the 1901 or 1911 Canadian census here:

Look at the original where it gives year of immigration.
