this is the son i would think as my brother in laws brother who would be the grandson of arthur is also john t peters..thanks for looking sandra

Thanks very much,will try and get more info later,i do know that my brother in law has been given a picture of arthurs father in a police uniform with the number S10 on the shoulder, thanks again i am so grateful to all the help i get on here...Sandra

This is the only likely birth registration which I can see for him

to either
Lily Dorothy Pearce or Mercy Amelia Pearce.

The other man on the page is Albert Weaver. I wonder if it was just coincidence that the two brides had the same surname, or if it was a double wedding

If it was one of these brides, then buying this certificate will give his fathers name

would anyone be able to give me any info on arthur charles peters,I know he had a son born in 1911, most likely in shepton mallett,really want to know his fathers name,would be sooooooooooooo grateful for any info.....Sandra
