Help needed - Transferring my tree from FTM - Genealogy Chat - Boards

	Could somebody please help me to transfer my tree from FTM 10 on old pc (xp) on to my new pc (vista ) on to FTM 16, I couldn't use FTM10 on vista so just purchased FTM16 or do I have to type it all in again? Nothing to technical please! Thanks Meryl

	No the cd rom doesnt work on old pc! have put files on usb pen drive, Meryl

	Mick I have tried to move it from usb drive but it says windows cannot open this file! Meryl

Member Since: April 2006 Posts: 5,644 Send Message	Meryl, have you tried exporting your file rather than copying it? (File/export then select destination to save to ie pendrive) Then import into FTM16.
