You could always change all the names and dob to generation missed out and work through your tree by doing this. Annie

Victoria

FTM will only cost about £10....it's well worth it as a back up! (easier to move around on too) Dont bother with the full version with all the CDs £30-£40.

It allows you to amend mistakes...unlike GR.

Look for the 'who do you think you are' one....it's the same as FTM

Correct your mistakes...then zap back to GR via ged com thingy wotzit.....HONEST!
It's easy peasy...even to a great grannie<<<me

Thanks Claire I think I might try the second option first. Victoria

You can't delete from the top of a GR tree, you can only start at the bottom.
The 2 easiest options are

1) Correct mistake on Family Tree Maker or similar if you have this facility

2) Contact GR & ask then if they can correct the error

Hi everyone I have just realised that when putting info on my tree I have missed out a full generation .Other then deleating from the top and working down to the mistake by deleating is there anyother way of righting my mistake.Hopefully Victoria
