Hi all,

Following on from someone else's thread about placing an add in paper - thought it might be a good idea if we list any that we know of. So if your local paper does one perhaps you could let us all know please?

My local paper "The News" covers the Portsmouth and surrounding area and does a Where Are They Now column every Saturday.
Contact details are:

email: [email protected] and write Where are they now? in the subject line

Mary

ps I'd love to find one that does it for Edinburgh :-))

Hi Tina

I hope so. :-))
The one in my local paper gets requests from all over the world. Sometimes it's just someone looking for an old work mate or schoolfriend, often it's from someone doing genealogy but it's always well used.

Manchester Evening News on a Saturday night use to have a "Looking For" section but not sure if still does it. I stopped buying said paper when price increased for outer townies and it was given free to city folk.
