I wonder if anyone knows of a Charles Shadrach Charlton (1806)? I have searched everywhere to find his parents. He was born in Heckfield, Hampshire and married a Maria Hassel (1808) and I have located her parents. CSC is in the 1871 census for Bedminster Bristol as Shadrach Charlton but I can't get any further. He doesn't appear in older 'censii' so far as I can tell. I'm in Melbourne so it's not so easy to search local church records! Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, Ron C.

He should be on the censuses from 1841 to 1861..........

Have you checked the IGI for baptism etc?
