Hi all

Apols if this has been covered before (I've had a search!) but does anyone know what happens to church records when the church is flattened?

The church of the records I'm particularly interested in is:
St Mary's Church, Spital Square (Middlesex - now London).

Any ideas?
Thanks in advance
Cath

They will probably have been deposited with the County Records Office.

The records are at the London Metropolitan Archives I have just checked their catalogue for you.
