Kathlyn Report 14 Apr 2008 09:19

I obtained the death cert of, what I hoped was my great grandfather, name right, place right, age right, death date right. The cert was issued by the coroner as he was killed whilst at work in 1884. There were no family names on the cert that I could use as possible proof this was "my" great grandfather.

I wrote to the RO in Liverpool hoping it may have been in reported in the local press of the time. The RO found three papers that carried the report, but sadly, they only said as much as the
coroner.

Has anyone any idea if there is any other route I can go down to prove/disprove this is my relative?

I have to go off line now to attend my classes so would appreciate pms in reply.

Keeping my fingers crossed XXXXX
