I have been looking for the birth of my grandfather, I was amazed to find the following named person, bold as brass, his name was, wait for it......

Cockshutt Nelson, and if you don`t believe me,have a look for yourself.

Is it a Yorkshire name? I have an Anne Cockshott from Yorkshire in my tree.

I don't suppose it sounded rude in those days.

I've found some buried in Chatburn in Lancashire.
