Hi Heather

The marraige was in 1797 in Stoke by Nayland, bride was from Stoke by Nayland and groom from Nayland. Groom had an unusual first name of Sylvanus (Silvanus).

Only thing you can do really is when you have found the parents names of one child you can enter those to look for likely siblings.

When was the marriage and does it say if either of them are from another parish?

Not necessarily - they could be from another family that just happen to have the same name. Even if the parents names match they could still be two different families, especially if they are common names in a village where that name is widespread.

I read on here the other week that if once you have found a relative on the IGI, if you click on the Batch number and enter the surname you are searching for it will bring up those with the same names. I was just wondering if these other people are related. The reason I ask is that I have found my 6x great grandmother on there. I went to the local records office and got a copy of their entry of marriage, but the people who witnessed it did not look like family, so apart from her marriage I know nothing about her and I was hoping if these others who are on the same batch list were her family as they all married in the same place.
