where are they buried?

how do you find out which grave yard your rellies are buried?(i know it may sound stupid)

Depending on when they died, they could be in a municipal cemetery rather than a graveyard or they could have been cremated.

You need to find out where they died to begin with and then start with the nearest cemetery and work your way outwards.

Again, depending on the date, you could see if they are listed on the National Burial Index (NBI). You could also try google to see if there are any burial records or memorial inscriptions (MI's) online.

The name is Thomas Luvate and he died March 1880 in Prestwich Lancashire.

Hi Still Looking
Southern Cemetery in Barlow Moor Road, Manchester is a huge cemetery where a lot of people from suburbs of Manchester are buried - you can check names on Manchester City Council website but it is expensive I think it is £12 for 4 searches and £25 for 12 searches (you need to click on burial records) it gives you the option of searching all the major cemeterys in Manchester (southern being the largest).
