hi there, margaret,
Thanks for the information. I know of the family from Scholes, i know that William aged 9 on this census married a Lucy and went to live in Leeds he died during the 1st world war and my mum can remember going to see Lucy and her cousin Lucy (williams daughter) but i can't seem to find the lost family of Leeds and would love to know more about them. The addresses i have given were in my late grans address book and i was hoping to maybe find them using it. Thank you for your help Margaret.

hi there,
Trying to find relatives of Mary THOMPSON and Lucy HARRISON whos parents were Lucy and William WOOD. They lived for part time in HUNSLET LEEDS. There dad William died in the 1st world war. In my grans address book it has neice next to each name.

Lucy HARRISON 834 York Road Middleton Leeds 15

Mary THOMPSON 15 Thorpe Crescent Middleton Leeds 10

Lucy WOOD (mum to above) 9 pepper Terrace Hunslet. Also 9 Throsle Lane Middleton Leeds 10

William was born in Scholes nr ROTHERHAM to LUCY and JOHN WILLIAM WOOD born 1892. I don't know the date of birth for Lucy or the dates of the children. But it could be about 1908 onwards but before 1918 as he died around then. He was in the Prince of Wales Own (West Yorkshire Regiment) He served in france and flounders.

We believe that Mary THOMPSON had a daughter called MARGARET THOMPSON

thanks
Ally
