Best place to purchase certificates? Dodgy Site??

Hi, Im new to this and buying my first 3 certificates (1 wedding and 2 birth)

Im just about to purchase them for £69 but the sites security certificate is invalid when I go to put my credit cards details in
Its http://www.secure1.gov-certificates.co.uk/payment/payment.php

There is supposed to be an s after the http to show its secure and now Im reluctant!! Any advice and also is £23 per cert the usual price?

Thats saved me around £50 straight away - Thank God the certificate was invalid!

Im so relieved you've told me as I was beginning to think that that this would cost me a small fortune

Thanks for your reply hoobity - its saved me throwing away money - I'ts definately worth the wait until I find the best place

£21 from gro.gov

get the information on bmds from www.freebmd.org.uk, making sure you have what is called the GRO registration number ..... that is the set of 2 numbers that come after the name of the place of registration.

Then go to www.gro.gov.uk, be sure to answer YES when asked if you have the GRO reference number.




The ONLY other place you should consider buying a certificate from is a local Registry Office, if they will do it, many will not.

Funnily enough, the genuine GRO site also gives me an invalid certificate message.

I've told them about it, but they don't seem to be bothered.
