Depends which Newcastle you mean, there is also one in Staffordshire.

The horrible realization is....especially on the 'trying to find' board is...

They think GR will inform them that they have replies via an e.mail!!!!

Newcastle upon Tyne was Northumberland. It is situated north of the river, which forms the boundary between Northumberland and County Durham.

Newcastle under Lyne was Staffordshire

when we look it up is it,what it used to be called or where it is now?Is there a map of old county boundaries..conffffffused of Bushey !
