It sounds correct with the little info i have. What are the names of the additional children if you don't mind me asking so that i can cross check info ive had off my elderly auntie but sometimes her facts are a little vague as she keeps skipping generations and names.

Thanx Lisa

Lisa,

In 1871 Scotland..to match the parents of Helen McGibbons bapt 27th Feb 1869..parents as Christina Taylor &Peter,McGibbons,,,,,,

6 Bakehouse Close ,
Cannongate Edbro,
family consists of,
Peter 2,
Mary 6,
John 4,
Helen 2,

Peter 32 born England,**
Christina 28.bn Sterlingshire,

They are not as a family in 1881 Scotland, they could by this time be in England,?

Thanx,

I'm looking for Helen Mcgibbon b1869 in Midlothian Scotland. England census states her daughter (my grandma) was born in Scotland but birth certificate states born in England.
I want to know who was living with Helen mcgibbon before moving to England.

Kind regards Lisa

Buying GR credits is about the most expensive way to view the census.

You are better off with subscription to Ancestry which is £63.96 (if you barter) for all you can lookup in a year.

Ancestry have England, Wales & Scotland census 1841-1901
BMD's & loads more

If you post what you have on here, someone will do a lookup for you
