Thanks for your reply, its just the free version of AVG will they still help??

My AVG is still scanning but looks like it scanning folder or something as various things come up when it scans where usually it just scans and you don't see anything until its finished.

Have you got its Icon down in right hand corner,?or desktop,?

Hi Kay,

Yes I have and I can run the AVG but usually when you run the antivirus you don't see anything it just runs, now mine has about five things on it in blue print when it runs not just a blank screen until it finishes as usual.

try right clicking on icon,,and see if you can disconnect from AGV,,then lauch AVG Centre again from same place,,,,

Hi Kay,

When I right click on the AVG icon it just says this:-

Launch AVG
Quit AVG
Launch AVG Test Centre
AVG Free- Online Services (which I checked and are not free)
Check for updates
