coming to england from ireland by boat

hi all

i am hoping someone can give me some advice

i am trying to find out what boat a relative would have got on from southern island to england in about 1948..

is there any web sites what would give me this information

Passenger lists from Ireland to England don't exist unfortunately.

Do you really mean 1948? If so, that would just be a normal ferry type boat and again, records are not available.
