I don't have Find My Past or Ancestry but would suggest you put your lookup information on the Records office section, they would be more able to help you but there is a death on the CWGC website and its this one.

hi betty
the one iv'e been looking at is
j field -duke of wellington west yorkshire regiment
10th bn service no 13088
he died 5.7.1916
i did get his youngest daughter's birth certificate
and he died just before she was born and also says he
was in yorkshire regiment 10 bn
my james was born in wexford

Hi Yorkshire

There are a lot of deaths on the CWGC website for both WW1 and WW2 but do you know what year he died or what age he would have been? There are 10 pages of death for J Field who died in WW1 alone.

does anyone know if find my past is accurate please
found a james field newcross co.cork who died in 1st war
by some slim chance could this be new ross co.wexford
