You can do a parent search on the IGI on the family search site.
If you find the baptism of a known ancestor, do another search putting the parents names in the right hand boxes and nothing in the others.
This works for more unusual names.
Another way is to click on the batch number on your known relatives record there.
This will take you to that particular church records. Put the surname into the correct box and click to find other children baptised with that surname in the same parish.

It is best to verify all findings with original registers if possible.

If you put your enquiry on the Records board, with as much detail as you know, someone on there who has access to lots of the records may be able to help you. They cannot do a blanket search of all the 'Smiths' over a 20 year period for example, as it would take them too long.
There are several good people who will do their best to find entrys for people who do not have subscriptions to all the Ancestry and Electorol roll sites.
