My uncle died when his ship was torpedoed in the North Sea. His death is recorded in the BMD registers. |

His name was James Edgar Lynam, born in Wales but then his mother took him to Birmingham ,,I do know that he was married in Leicester in 1932 as I have his marriage cert. I have trawled through the death from1976 -1983 then 1984- 2005 .He was born in 1906.I thought he may have been killed in the war, as he was the right age to be called up for service. |

It shouldn;'t matter unless you are looking for a really common name. What was his name and when/where was he born? |

If they were killed in action abroad then no but if they were civilians killed in a bombing for instance, then yes. |

If anyone was killed in W.W.2 would their death be recorded in B.M.D. among civilians? |
