Does anyone know if there is a Plumber Street either in Ormskirk or Liverpool? I've tried Google Maps but all I get is Plumbers in that area! On my gg grandparents marriage certificate it just says they were resident in Plumber Street. |

The Royal Mail website cannot locate that street name in either town. |

When I first read this thread I thought Plumber St sounded familiar. I have just looked at a marriage cert (July 1850) and the bride and groom both gave their residences as in Plumber St. They were married in the Parish Church in the Parish of Liverpool. Groom was Francis Burns, bride was Ellen Jones, I cant decipher the name of the person who conducted the service, the witnesses were John Roberts and Mary Blakely. Any of those names ring a bell with you? |
