Hi Folks,

I have been researching for a good while now and I have found other avenues (ongoing in my tree) but I am totally stuck and need some expert help on my main route. Sorry for the long message but any new ideas or spins would be great.

My grt grandfather 'James Cannon' died in World War 1 but he still had 7 living brothers all born in Bradford, Thomas (1885), John (1886), Stephen (1889), Charles William (1891-1908), Martin (1893), Joseph (1895), Leonard (1897).

Their parents where Edward Cannon (1856 Oldham) and Catherine O'Hara (1858 Ireland).

Edward's parents were Thomas Cannon (1824, Sligo?? possibly Mayo border - I can't find the baptismal record) and Ann Farrell (1826, Ireland). Their children including Edward were Ellen (b.1854), Mary (1857) and Bridget (1861). There is one grandchild Mary Ellen (1875) who I assume is the child of an unmarried from above.

Thomas' father was Michael (c. 1800 at a big guess, Ireland).

I have searched the Griffiths valuation etc but knowing if the results are correct is a different matter. I can't be the only one researching this family surely.

Any help is gratefully received.
