I have used PAF4 for years but have just started with PAF5, However, i find that when I copy and paste..say from a census, I get all the 'instructions'...or whatever they are...too. Any suggestions what I can do, other than delete, of course?
Thanks
Joan

Under Start- All Prorams - Accessories there's a program called Notepad. This is a primitive word processing program. Open it, then copy and paste your stuff to that, edit it there as needed, then copy (or cut) to your target (PAF here). I use it for all sorts of copy and pasting - even stuff that's got embedded HTML buttons and links in it. This program is so dumb, it doesn't know much about html, so it just grabs the text and uses that - typically exactly what I want.

I find it so useful, I've created a shortcut to it on my desktop.
