This sounds really interesting! I'd be grateful to know if you have any more info on J Barbour, other than what's on Commonwealth War Graves. Thanks!

Hi All,

As previously posted a couple of months ago, I am in the process of trying to research and transcribe my Grandfather's medical operations book from WW1.

It basically records all the patients names, service numbers, what operation they had, what the outcome was and surgeons names etc.

Anyhows, so far I have looked up all the deceased soldiers details and, with your assistance, managed to find information on most of them (all bar 5).

They are a mixture of English, Canadian and New Zealand soldiers and the information ranges from attestation records to references on the CWGC site.

Anyhows, I have listed the soldiers below. Most are buried at HAZEBROUK COMMUNAL CEMETERY. If you are related to any of them and want more information then drop me a line :
