I am really srtuggling with my James OWen Fox.

I have got a birth ref for him in 1859 in Bolton to Owen and Mary Ann. There are 2 other James Fox in Bolton born within a few years (one son of elizabeth and Samuel 1856 who marries a Mary and the other to anthony and esther in 1864 who marries a margaret mcdonald.

I have james on the censuses as a child with parents and then married to Margaret by 1891 but I cant find his marriage. Their first child was born 1884. His wife Margaret was born in Bolton so it seems highly unlikely that they would marry elsewhere dont you think? I ordered what I thought must have been their cert from 1886 only to find it was for teh other james whjo marries a margaret There does't seem to be a marriage that could be theirs.I've looked on freebmd and also lancashire bmd-

Any suggestions?

Cheers
Nicola
