What is the best site for putting all my information onto a tree.. I get so frustrated with the one on GR .. Is ancestory the best one or are there other better ones you can buy elsewhere. I will still input in to GR as I could get some matches. Any advice

I'm the same as Julie. Tribal pages is free, it's a decent tree and you can give your password to anyone that you want to let look at it.

Did you purchase your ancestry.co.uk or is it just a trial? You can buy the Who do you think you are family tree program for £5.99 from play.com at the moment including a months ancestry sub (its a give away - I think I told you this already though - didnt I give you the link to the program yesterday?). If you go to play.com they are out of stock now (its a real bargain) but just underneath their item they say you can buy it from one of their partners and give a link to playtrade dealer for same price. It looks like that firm only has a couple left though.

You put the program on your computer and you can import all your GR info into it very easily - you can back it up to a cd or to internet storage and on top of all that, you can create a free homepage on the internet for any family or rellies to access just by clicking a button a few times.

Tribal pages is on the net, not a program on your computer that is offline
