Thank you everyone for your help I now have the information regarding my husbands family, I have copies of marriage cert's and am waiting for copies of birth certificates. I had been trying for so long to find a way to get this information, I had almost given up. Thank you all again.

You could also try
http://pilot.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html#start

However, a word of caution about this site - its not 100%. I couldn't find a number of my relatives online, but on visit to Dublin found them in the actual indexes

You can get Irish Certs from:
Civil Registration Office
Office of the Registrar General
Roscommon
Ireland
Tel: +353 (0) 90 6632900
fax: +353 (0) 90 6632999

You need the persons name as per the family search site, district ie Cork, year, quarter, plus the volume number and the page
They don't take orders over the phone - I send a fax with my ccard details.
The cost is €4 for a photocopy of the certificate with the above info or €6 if they search for you (3years I think).

Thank you all for your ideas I have been given a site in Ireland that gives me 1901 and 1911 census records so I have been able to go back three generations with our Irish families.

Some irish counties are doing parish records and the history of the towns online, i have just found a whole clan from Kilrush, Co Clare, and the best of all if i would of googled my ancestors name and Ireland, i would have found her. I went the long way round, but there is a whole section relating to my great grandmother and family, (i'd been spelling her name wrong), So don't despair its getting better, but as said, a lot of records don't exist in most counties.
if you join sites like irishrelatives you have more chance of meeting a fellow searcher.

good luck

Eire, is very difficult as many records were destroyed in the troubles. If you try going on line to whatever county your relatives were from it may be helpful.
